How to do it? I'd need to speak Spanish of course! So I started to hit those vocab books, strategically chose my A-Levels and even ended up doing it as my degree. Year Three of Oxford... the time had come and I move to Buenos Aires, the most captivating of cities.... full of polo players. By the time I left 6 months later, i realised that my 16 year old self may have been misguided, but the world of polo remained as intoxicating as ever. Since as long as I can remember, I was an adventurer, a seeker, a nomad. Few things made my heart beat faster than the unknown, touching down in a foreign country for the first time as new faces became new friends, living in the flow of what each day would bring. I loved to be at the behest of the world and all the mysteries that waited to unfold. So I became a travel writer, writing stories for the likes of Conde Nast Traveller, Monocle Magazine, Vice and Elite Traveler and guide-books for Fodors and American Express. It was my ticket to traverse the globe, from the beaches of Bahia to the wild steppes of Patagonia, the planes of Bolivia to the Balinese temples. Soon, I realised that I was searching for something, as I stared into stranger's eyes, heard their dreams and scribbled down their stories to share. At first, i thought it was myself (...that old cliché!) But over the years i realised that it went deeper, that what I was searching for was my dharma. I began to journey inside, mapping the contours of my consciousness and training as a kundalini yoga teacher, theta healer and to guide cacao ceremonies in the ancient Mayan tradition. Now, i write about these adventurers of healing, the discoveries of the soul, sometimes for magazines like Conde Nast Spa, and sometimes for myself. Always passionate about people, their dreams and their hearts, I began to help others on their journey, to find the key to unlock what they most desired, be it love, purpose, balance, healing or self-esteem.
